CYMA Project Tracking (PT) is an optional part of the CYMA Financial Management - General Ledger module. Project Tracking provides a simplified version of tracking revenues, expenses, budgets and activities for smaller projects or jobs.
When using CYMA's Project Tracking addition, users are able to easily view a projects progress. Transactions from General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll are consistently assigned, by project id, to the Project -- always providing an up to date financial overview of the project. Added clarity can be provided with the use of user defined cost categories, cost types and custom fields. Project Tracking is enabled within the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivable modules. When enabled, all entry screens within the module are enhanced to add Project Tracking fields to the data entry lines.
* Project Tracking is designed for internal projects, if organization requires a more advanced costing system, the CYMA Job Costing System is recommended.
