Maintain Wage Calculations
The Wages tab contains a DataGrid that allows for changing the way that CYMAIV calculates taxable wages. The DataGrid columns contain all the Taxes features that are set up on the Maintain Configuration dialog box. The DataGrid rows contain all the features that are set up on the Maintain Configuration dialog box. For each tax specify how each feature is calculated as part of the taxable wage calculation. The following options are available:
Payroll EFT Direct Deposit
CYMAIVfeatures support for EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Direct Deposit. For employees with the EFT direct deposit feature, CYMAIV payroll will create an electronic file in ACH format ready for transmission to a financial institution or direct deposit clearing house.

Time Entry
For payroll data that must be entered on a routine or periodic basis, such as hours, rates and pieces. Data entered can be posted to Job Costing and Payroll as a separate process.
Add-on to the CYMA Payroll Module. Provides State Required forms for 50 states which can be printed onto blank paper or filed directly to the state electronically.
Import Capabilities
Importing Payroll data from Vertical Applications:
The General Import operation is designed to allow data to be brought in to CYMAIV from an unlimited number of sources, such as other accounting systems and spreadsheets. These sources may store their data in many different formats, however, the source must have the ability to output the information into an intermediate comma separated value (CSV) file format before it can be imported using this operation.

Asset Keeper by ProWare is available from a CYMAIV menu and can import fixed asset depreciation data directly into the General Ledger. ProWare Asset Keeper recently received 4.5 out of 5 stars in the CPA Software News and offers up to 8 eight methods (or books) for fixed assets with calculations available for current year, next year, monthly, beginning accumulated, and projected depreciation are provided for each asset.
