Stopping and Restarting Pervasive

Occassionally, you may need to stop and restart Pervasive (exceeded user count even with the proper number of users, updating Employee Self-Service, etc.). Please use the instructions below to stop and restart Pervasive.

  1. Ensure that everyone is logged out of CYMA
  2. On the server or host machine, go to the Run Command/Search field
  3. Search for: Services.msc
  4. Search the list in Services, for any Pervasive (occassionally there will be two services)
  5. Right click on each Pervasive and choose Stop
  6. Right click and choose Restart when appropriate
