TEMPE, AZ (July 29, 2011) — CYMA Systems, Inc. announces an educational partnership with Dixie State College of Utah. Through the agreement, CYMA is donating accounting software licenses for one hundred (100) student seats.
"Dixie State College is excited to partner with CYMA to provide accounting students the unique opportunity of experiencing how top-of-the-line accounting software can provide the bridge between education and industry.", says Steven Day, Assistant Professor of Accounting at Dixie College.
"Accounting is the language of business, yet traditional educational methods generally offer only Accounting theory."
CYMA's educational package includes a wide variety of CYMA's business accounting software modules designed to give students a larger picture of the accounting profession. Featured modules included Payroll, Human Resources, General Ledger, After-the-Fact, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control and more.
"We want our Accounting graduates at Dixie State to walk-the-walk upon graduation. Our primary goal is to incorporate traditional Accounting theory with Accounting tools used in the business world. Students get excited when they can apply theory to practice. These non-traditional methods are exciting for the student and professor alike. CYMA's partnership with Dixie State College will help Accounting graduates add true-value to their respective employers immediately upon employment."
